When you make an online purchase from Grasslands Turf Direct (a trading name of Grasslands Ltd), you entrust us with your personal details including your email address.

We assure you that we will not share or use your details for any purpose other than the completion of your purchase and the delivery of your order.

The Company or “we” or “us” means Grasslands Ltd, company registration 3532535, registered office and correspondance address Ashford Road, New Romney, Kent TN28 8TH

The customer means any person contracting to purchase turf or top soil from the company.

Delivery means delivery of goods ordered by the customer by the company’s own vehicle or by any sub-contractor employed directly or indirectly by the company.

Submission of a purchase order online to the Company will be taken as agreement to these terms and conditions.

The company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice.

Ordering from us online

The order is deemed to have been placed with the company by completing the ordering procedure. We will acknowledge that order with the details of price, delivery date etc and there will be the opportunity for the customer to change the order and correct errors at that time.

The order is finally accepted when payment in full is completed and the despatch process is commenced.

The Company will not accept any order for which we cannot obtain authorisation for payment.

All transactions are in £ sterling.

Delivery

It is essential for the satisfactory completion of the delivery of goods ordered that any possible difficulties relating to the delivery are notified to the company at the time of ordering. Ideally, the customer or his agent should be present at the time the delivery is made, and especially so where the customer is aware (or should be aware) of potential difficulties.

The Company will not accept any liability for damage to property caused during delivery.

Any additional charges incurred (such as parking charges) during delivery shall be for the account of the customer.

Delivery dates do not specify a time for the delivery. It is sometimes possible to specify an AM delivery or even a timed delivery. Any arrangement regarding a time delivery will cost extra and must be discussed with the Company at the time the order is placed, and paid for in full.

Deliveries of turf are normally effected on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in order that turf can be delivered the day after harvest. If our own transport is making the delivery, Monday deliveries are also possible.

Cancellation

Turf is a living perishable natural product. Cancellation of orders cannot be accepted once the despatch procedure has commenced.

Working days

Working days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday except Bank Holidays. Saturdays and Sundays are not working days.

Refund policy

If the customer is not satisfied with the quality of the product on delivery, they should immediately contact our customer care team on the number given, as the product is perishable.

These Terms and Conditions do not affect your Statutory Rights.

The customer is responsible at all times for goods once the delivery is completed. Delivery is on a kerbside delivery basis and it is the customers responsibility to move goods from the place of delivery once the delivery is completed.

Grasslandsturfdirect are happy to offer a full refund of the purchase price of all non perishable goods, provided they are returned to ourselves within 14 days of receipt.

Once turf is harvested, an order cannot be cancelled within 24 hours of the start of the delivery date.

Turf is a highly perishable product and cannot be returned for a refund unless it is not as described by ourselves.  If the customer is not satisfied with the quality of the product on delivery, they should immediately contact our customer care team on the number given, as the product is perishable.

Goods must be returned unused,undamaged and complete.

Goods must be returned to Grasslandsturfdirect at the customer’s expense.

Payment of a refund for the goods will be within 7 days, of return of goods to ourselves.

We will refund your money in the way you paid for the goods.

Nothing in this policy will affect the statutory rights of the customer.
